Council advises that we will be conducting road works on Paynters Siding Road.These works will commence on Tuesday, 9 September and Wednesday, 10 September.Traffic control will be in place from 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. to ensure the safety of workers and road users.

Pedestrian safety in East Street is set to improve, with Council confirming enhancements of the mid-block pedestrian crossing to create a safer and more visible crossing for all users.

Please be advised that Council works on the East Street pedestrian crossing (between Coles and the Criterion Hotel) will commence today.An alternative pedestrian crossing is in place nearby to ensure safe access during the works. Road users will not be affected.

Please be advised that due to a burst watermain, there is currently no water supply from the Canal Bridge to the Airport on Irrigation Way, including the Nallabooma estate. Water is expected to remain off until at least 9pm tonight while urgent repairs are carried out.

Due to recent wet weather, vehicle access to the Narrandera Flora and Fauna Reserve is currently closed for safety and environmental protection purposes. The area will reopen once conditions improve and the roads have dried out.
