Break out the leg warmers, dust off the disco ball and get ready for some nostalgia - Narrandera is turning back the clock this New Year's Eve with 'Retro Rewind: Countdown to 2026'.

Lighting up the Narrandera Showgrounds on Wednesday 31 December from 6pm, this all-ages event promises a huge night of music. The energy will be next level on the dance floor with a live band and DJ spinning classic hits, and amusement rides for all ages.

The good times keep rolling with Glow Roller Skating, a mouthwatering line-up of food trucks and gourmet street eats, plus a dedicated chillout zone for anyone who needs a quiet moment to recharge. The precinct will include clearly marked family-friendly zones, adult social areas, alcohol-managed spaces, and ample security to ensure a safe and enjoyable night for all.

A 10pm, a fireworks display is planned (pending funding), giving families the chance to count down early, while the music and dancing carries on into the night.

“Retro Rewind is a great chance for our community to come together and celebrate the new year in a fun, safe and family-friendly way. It’s events like this that bring people together and show what makes Narrandera such a special place,” said Mayor Neville Kschenka.
