Narrandera Shire Council is pleased to advise the community that important renewal works to the rubberised softfall areas will soon commence at Marie Bashir Park Playground.

From Monday, 18 August 2025, Council will be undertaking the renewal of rubberised softfall surfacing in two specific areas of the playground:

•    Around the 5-way swing area and

•    In the fitness equipment area.

These works are expected to be completed by Wednesday, 27 August 2025, weather permitting.

To ensure public safety, these two areas will be temporarily closed during construction. However, all other areas of the playground and park will remain open.
