Narrandera Town and Village Entry Signs Design Suite

Narrandera Shire Council is inviting the community to provide feedback on a new suite of town and village signage proposed for entry points into Narrandera, Barellan, Grong Grong and Binya.

These designs have been developed to make a positive statement as visitors arrive in our region and are based on existing feature assets including the Destination Discovery Hub and Lake Talbot Entry. This concept is aimed at complementing those assets and creating a sense of cohesiveness and pride throughout the community.

While undertaking an ongoing signage audit, a need has been identified to replace existing entry signage, due to end of asset life, redundant information, and a lack of cohesiveness across the Shire.

The Indigenous artwork included in the concept is by local Wiradjuri woman Shelby Lyons-Kschenka of Marara Designs.

There are multiple elements to consider and provide feedback on, including:

•    Overall design and materials
•    portrait or landscape
•    feature icons representing each location
•    stone look base or black posts
•    wording

These designs will be raised at each of the upcoming Listening Posts and are on public exhibition until 4pm Friday 30 June 2025.

All enquiries are to be directed to Edwina Kenna, Economic Development Manager on 02 6959 5510.
