Narrandera Shire Council is holding an online Child Restraint Information Session as part of Local Government Week.                                                                                                   

Research shows that two in every three child passengers are not correctly restrained in a child car seat. Children who are not restrained correctly are seven times more likely to sustain life-threatening injuries in a crash than those who are properly secured.

Come along to find out about the current rules and recommendations for keeping children safe by using correctly fitted child restraints. The session will be held by Zoom with the link and information to join the session available from Narrandera Shire Council’s Facebook page and website.

By joining the session, you will have a chance to receive one of twenty vouchers for a free child restraint check and if required fitting by authorised restraint fitter, Rodney Flanagan from Safari Motors Narrandera.

Information packs on child restrain laws and safety will be distributed to participants after the event.
