Narrandera Shire Council would like to remind all residents and stakeholders that the deadline for submissions regarding the proposed Special Variation (SV) is fast approaching. Submissions will close on 3 November 2023, providing residents with an opportunity to voice their opinions on the proposed budget adjustments.

The proposed SV aims to address the current financial challenges and ensure the provision of essential services and infrastructure developments throughout the Narrandera Shire. The proposal intends to strike a balance between maintaining services, enhancing community facilities, and managing financial sustainability for the community's best interests.

Neville Kschenka encourages all residents, community groups, and businesses to participate in this crucial process by submitting any feedback, suggestions, or concerns regarding the proposed budget. “This is an opportunity to actively shape the future of Narrandera Shire and ensure that Council's decisions reflect the needs and aspirations of the community.”
