If you are interested in becoming a Councillor of Narrandera Shire Council, here is an opportunity for you. The Australian Local Government Women’s Association (ALGWA) are hosting a Women in Government Forum. 

  • Content: Information, support and encouragement for women who are thinking of standing for Council
  • Host: Australian Local Government Women’s Association (ALGWA). ALGWA is committed to increasing the number of women elected representatives
  • Presenters: Leigh Bowden (Cootamundra-Gundagai Council), Anne Napoli (Griffith City Council) and Rina Mercuri (Griffith City Council)
  • In attendance: Leeton Shire Councillors Cr Tracey Morris and Cr Sandra Nardi
  • Who should attend: Women who are considering standing as candidates in the upcoming LG elections
