Building inspections

Council requires 48 hours’ notice prior to inspections being scheduled. This allows time for the files to be made available for the inspecting officer. Council cannot guarantee an inspection if less than 48 hours’ notice is provided.

Have the following information ready when booking an inspection

  • Name of person requiring the inspection and a contact phone number
  • Construction Certificate (CC) number
  • Job site address
  • Type of inspection required, eg: footings, frame, etc
  • Date/time inspection is requested
