Rates and water billing
The rating system provides for the net funding requirements of Council's programs as stated in the Fees & Charges. Any increase in the rates is reviewed annually after considering the maximum provided under the State Government's rate pegging legislation.
Rates are payable annually and can be paid in full or by quarterly instalments. If paying in full, payment must be by 31 August each year. Quarterly instalment dates are 31 August, 30 November, 28 February and 31 May each year.
