Work experience

Narrandera Shire Council is committed to providing support to local schools through work experience and work placement programs. We see it as a valuable contribution to the community and will do all that we can to make it a professional, enjoyable and successful program.

Each year, we host multiple students across different parts of our organisation and operations, including:

  • Civil Construction
  • Human Resources
  • Library Services
  • Open Space and Recreation
  • Visitor Services.

Students interested in undertaking work experience as part of the mandatory school program or work placement for Higher School Certificate (HSC) or Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses should contact their school’s Careers Advisor or Council’s Human Resources team.
