The Narrandera Library has been serving the shire as a resource for traditional and evolving library services for over 100 years.
Located in a modern building in East Street, the library is a community hub offering access to books, DVDs, audiobooks, magazines, computers and Wi-Fi, as well as eBooks, eAudio and eMagazines through the Western Riverina Libraries (WRL) website.
As a source of historical information, Narrandera Library holds a range of local history materials including microfilm copies of local newspapers dating back to 1888.
Individuals and groups can also access community space for meetings, study and activities.

Membership of the Library is free and available to all residents of Western Riverina Libraries (WRL) local government areas of Narrandera, Carrathool, Hay, Murrumbidgee and Griffith City. Register online!
Temporary membership is also available for non-residents. See Visitors to Narrandera Shire below.
Narrandera Shire Library's monthly mobile library service services Barellan and Grong Grong with school and town stops.
House-bound residents in Narrandera and of Teloca House, Pangarinda Homes, Opal Nursing Home and Narrandera Day Care, as well as in Barellan and Grong Grong are encouraged to take advantage of the monthly visits. This service is available to new and existing members who can request or reserve books, DVDs, or magazines by calling 02 6959 5585, emailing the library, or through the Western Riverina Libraries App.

If you're staying in the area for a short time or are unable to provide proof of your residence, you can become a Non Resident Member.
