Our Bin Trim assessors are coming to visit businesses in Narrandera in February and March.
Council is a participant in the Bin Trim Networks Program* which is designed to help local businesses reduce waste and increase recycling and adopt circular economy solutions.
The assessors will be undertaking free waste reduction assessments, which take about 15 minutes. This is an opportunity to join over 100 businesses from the region that have participated to date.
A rebate covering up to 50% the capital costs of waste management equipment is available, as well as some funding for internal bins and signage.

Tyler has spent many years of his working life running a small business with his family, he has hands on experience and knowledge of the tasks and challenges that face small business owners in Australia. Tyler currently works at Albury Wodonga Foodshare and gets hands on experience alongside knowledge on how to divert food and other grocery items to useful functions rather than letting useful items end up in landfill.
