Add or update a listing
MyShire is a convenient platform for local businesses, sporting groups and community organisations to promote services and activities. Register now to create a Business or Community listing!
Before you get started, check the MyShire Terms and conditions of use(PDF, 148KB).
(For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the administrator is deemed to be Narrandera Shire Council and those staff involved in creating or maintaining the platform.)
If you have any questions, contact council before proceeding.
1. Register or login
Register by clicking 'get started' at the bottom of this page.
- You must use a valid email address. The login will be used to submit and maintain your listings.
- Avoid using personal email addresses!
Register using a dedicated business or organisation email address.
(This means the account is not tied to a personal account, especially helpful for sporting groups and community organisations where the person responsible for maintaining listings may change from year-to-year.)
You will receive auto-generated emails from noreply@opencities.com. Check your junk mail folder or add this address to your ‘safe sender’ list.
2. Add listing
Select 'Submit your Narrandera Shire MyShire local directory listing' from the dashboard and complete all required fields.
When creating a listing, be sure that you have the rights to use and distribute any supplied content and images. Consider copyright or ownership protected materials, which could breach applicable laws (defamation, privacy, trade practices, financial rules and regulations, fair use, trademarks).
3. Submit for approval
When all listing details are added, select 'submit' at the bottom of the page.
Narrandera Shire Council reviews content before it can be published on our website. It may take up to 5 business days for Council to review and approve directory listings. You will receive a confirmation email when the listing is approved.
4. How to update your listing
Update your listing as often as you like - to keep it fresh or just when details change.
Login to your MyShire account and select 'Manage your listing'
- Find the relevant listing and select the three dots under 'manage'
- Select 'Edit page'
- Update the details
- Select submit
5. Regularly review your listing
Once your listing has been published, you will receive review notifications every 12 months. Notifications are automatically sent by the system.
For the best benefit to you, keep your information up-to-date! Details like opening hours can change seasonally or and club/organisation contacts can change after groups hold AGMs.
