Fatality Free Friday aims to have not a single road death in Australia for just one day. This year the day is 25th May 2012. Narrandera Shire Council is encouraging everyone to take the Road Safety Pledge in May in support of Fatality Free Friday. Drop into Council's Office or the Visitor Centre in May and take the pledge to register your commitment to reducing road fatalities in Narrandera.

66th Free Flight Nationals

NSWFFS will host the 66th free flight nationals at Narrandera from 3 Jan 2013 to 8 Jan 2013. Location: the FF field at Widgiewa. To get to Field 1 from Narrandera, head south on the Newell Highway. Make sure to take the left turn onto the Newell Highway as you leave Narrandera. After 31 km, just before Morundah and opposite the grain silos, turn off to the left.
